Darryl Kennedy began his career with the Mt. San Antonio College Women’s Basketball Program in 2017.  Kennedy comes to the Mounties with an extensive background in women’s basketball, having coached for over 20 years as an assistant and head coach.

Kennedy began his high school coaching career at Ganesha High School, in 1994, where he helped lead the boy’s varsity program to 3 CIF appearances and 2 league championships over 5 successful seasons. In 1999, Kennedy moved to Jurupa Valley as a varsity assistant coach, where he helped turn a struggling program into a two-time CIF Championship Runner-Up Team.

He continued his career at Colony High School (assistant head coach) where along with Head Coach Ed Taylor, he helped guide Lady Titans to their 1st CIF Championship.  For the past 10 years, Kennedy has served as the Claremont High School Girls Basketball Head Coach.

Kennedy is a student-focused individual with proven expertise in motivating players.

He is extremely dedicated to the Mt. SAC Students, Staff and Community and strives to bring continued success to the Mountie program.
