Defense Shines as Mt. SAC Battles LA Mission to Scoreless Tie

Walnut, Calif. – In a defensive battle, the Mt. San Antonio College Men's Soccer Team played to a scoreless 0-0 draw against LA Mission on Tuesday, September 9, marking their second tie of the season. With the result, the Mounties move to 1-1-2, while the Eagles remain unbeaten at 3-0-1.

Both teams struggled to break through offensively. Mt. SAC recorded five shots on goal but couldn't convert, while LA Mission managed three shots on target. Mounties goalkeeper Cody Lindeman came up big with three saves to preserve the clean sheet.

The Eagles continue to lead the Western State Conference North with a .875 winning percentage, while the Mounties currently sit fourth in the South Coast Conference North Division at .500.
