Just six minutes later, Bella Gomez doubled the lead, finishing a well-placed pass from Teresa Garcia to give the Mounties a 2-0 advantage heading into halftime.

The Mounties capped off their scoring in the 63rd minute when Yuliana Jimenez found the back of the net, assisted by Nadine Padilla. Mt. SAC controlled possession throughout the majority of the match, recording eight shots on goal and converting three.

Ventura's goalkeeper Janessah Gonzalez tallied five saves to help limit the damage. The Pirates managed only one shot on goal, which was saved by Mt. SAC's Zanette Gonzalez, preserving the shutout.
