Former Mountie Vincent Federico enters his second year with the Mt. San Antonio College Football Staff as the Defensive Line coach.  Federico a standout Defensive Lineman at Bishop Amat High School (La Puente, CA), received a scholarship and attended the University of New Mexico (MW). 

In 2008, he transferred to Mt. SAC where he was a vital member of the defensive line that led the Mounties to a So Cal Championship and the California Community College Athletic Association State Championship Game. Federico received a scholarship to New Mexico State University (WAC) where he continued his academic and athletic career. Federico received his Associates Degree Behavioral and Social Sciences, from Mt. SAC, in 2009 and his Bachelor’s Degree in Management, from New Mexico State University, in 2011.

Federico resides in La Verne with his son, future Mountie Josiah and their Pit Bull Avani.

Federico enjoys the humbling experience of being able to give back to the community by helping aspiring young athletes achieve their dreams and goals on and off the field.
