Veteran football coach, Bernard Ventura, began his tenure in 2016 with the Mounties and will work with the offensive line and has moved over to the defensive line this season (2022).  Ventura has over 30 years of coaching experience (football/softball) at the high school and college levels.  In the off-season, he works with former NFL All-Pro Jesse Sapolu at the MITT Academy (lineman training) in Orange County.

Ventura is married and with two sons and a daughter.  Sons, Mark and David, both played at Mt. SAC while daughter Ashley played softball at Utah State University.  Ventura and his wife are proud grandparents of 6 year old Poet.
