(East Los Angeles, California)  Sophomore Kayleigh Davidson wins her first individual event conference championship today after swimming a time of 5:17.65 in the 500 freestyle event at the South Coast Conference Championships, being held at East Los Angeles College April 16-18, 2015.  The Mounties had four finalist in the 500 Free event and three in the 200 Individual Medley event and put together some very strong relay performances in the 200 Free Relay (Kaylyn Flerchinger, Brittney Anderson, Alana La Cour, and Tiffany Hwang) and 400 Medley Relay (Ardelle Aquino, Nicole Phan, Shania Fontanilla, and Kayleigh Davidson) to round out the competition.

The Mounties are looking forward to another strong day on Friday as prelims begin at East LA at 10:00 am and Finals begin at 4:00 pm.
