(Norwalk, CA) Seven members of the Mountie Women's Basketball Team earned All-South Coast Conference (SCC) Honors, with Guard Caira Benton, Guard Dominique McLaughlin and Forward Kali Jones also earning California Community College Athletic Association All-State Honors. 

McLaughlin, who averaged 11.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.6 steals per game was named SCC Freshman of the Year. Caira Benton was named to the California Community College Athletic Association All-State First Team.  Along with Benton, McLaughlin was named CCCAA All-State 2nd Team and Jones was named to the All-State 3rd Team.

• Allyah George - Sophomore Guard/Forward (Eisenhower H.S., Rialto, CA)
• Amari Terry** - Sophomore Guard (Alta Loma H.S., Rancho Cucamonga, CA)

This season the Mountie Women's Basketball Program captured their SIXTEENTH consecutive South Coast Conference Championship (SCC).  Mt. SAC finshed the season with a near perfect 28-2 overall record and a 9-1 conference record and will enter the 2017 play-offs as the number one seed.  The Mounties will host #16 seed Antelope Valley College, this Saturday, February 25th at 7:00 pm.
