(WALNUT) Dropping only one set in the last four matches, the Mounties swept visiting Rio Hondo College, 3-0, to improve to 18-3 overall and 7-0 in the South Coast Conference North.

Mt. SAC sophomore middle Kaitlyn Partridge and sophomore outside hitter Haley English (4 digs, 2 aces) both had eight kills, while sophomore outside hitters Makenzie Thieme (5 digs) and Erica Gumz (6 digs) each added six kills.

Sophomore setter Carolina Urquieta had 22 assists and two digs and sophomore defensive specialist Alexandria Peterson added eight digs.

As a team the Mounties only had one error in the first and third sets.
