Mt. SAC Women's Swimming & Diving wraps season with 11th-place finish at State Championships

(Monterey Park, CA) The Mt. San Antonio College Women's Swimming and Diving team compiled 135 points to place 11th at the 2023 California Community College Athletic Association Swimming and Diving State Championships held at East Los Angeles College on Thursday-Saturday, May 4-6. Santa Monica College claimed its first-ever state title placing first with 410 points, while Sierra College (372 points) and Orange Coast College (333) placed second and third, respectively.

The three-day event included 168 competitors from 35 schools. Top Mountie performances came from Lexis Brattain, who placed fifth in the 200 Back and sixth in the 100 Back, and Laila Topinio, who came in seventh in the 1650 Free.

With the 2023 season in the books, Mt. SAC now looks forward to the 2024 season, of which we hope you'll be a part.
