(Torrance, CA) With the South Coast Conference Swimming Championships set to begin this Thursday (April 20) at East Los Angeles College, the Diving portion took place on Friday (April 14) at El Camino College.

The Mountie women – Brianna Solis, Kelly Jackson and Shauna Mercado finished 2-3-4 on the 1 Meter Board among the South Coast Conference teams. Jackson and Mercado placed second and third on the 3 Meter board. Those points will add to the team total in the conference.

"It is a really solid day for us, as both teams will go into conference championships this week with a solid point base obtained from the diving events," Swimming and Diving coach Marc Ruh said. "The kids did great.".
