In a highly anticipated match on Friday, September 27, the Mt. SAC Women's Soccer Team secured a 2-1 victory over Chaffey College. The game was crucial for both teams, and the Mounties rose to the occasion.
Mt. SAC struck first in the 15th minute, with Eden Ramirez finding the net thanks to an assist from Vivian Lopez, marking the only goal of the first half. The Mounties extended their lead in the 85th minute with a goal from Noely Rodriguez, assisted by Stephanie Flores. Chaffey fought back with a last-minute goal in the 88th minute, but it was not enough to change the outcome.

The Mounties will look to maintain their momentum in their next important game against No. 2 ranked Pasadena City College on Tuesday, October 8, at 1:30 PM.
