(Whittier, CA) In a matchup of two of the state's top-ranked teams, No. 9 Mt. SAC (12-2-4, 7-0-2) and No. 3 Rio Hondo (13-1-1, 8-0-1) played to a 0-0 draw in a South Coast Conference game on Tuesday. With the tie, the Roadrunners claim the regular-season SCC North Division title with 25 points, while the Mounties finish second with 23 points.

Mt. SAC closed its regular-season schedule on a 13-game unbeaten streak that included four ties and outscoring its opponents by a margin of 37-9. The team's last loss came on Sept. 10, a 2-0 setback against San Diego Mesa.

The #3 Mounties will face off against #6 Compton in the SCC Tournament, which starts on Friday, Nov. 5.
