(Moorpark, CA) In the opening round of the Tommy A. North/South Challenge hosted by Moorpark College, Fresno City College (10-2) dealt Mt. San Antonio College (6-6) a 68-61 defeat on Thursday, Dec. 15.

Kamesha Moore led the Mounties with 21 points as teammates Endigo Parker and Jamya Mickens added nine and eight points, respectively. Kameria Piggee led Mt. SAC with eight rebounds.

The Rams' Daeja Holmes led all players in scoring (22) and rebounding (13).

Next up for the Mounties is a second-round matchup with Chabot College (4-9) on Friday, Dec. 16, at 12 p.m., and a third-round contest against Redwoods College (4-8) on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 6 p.m.
