(San Marcos, CA) The Mt. SAC Women's Basketball team took to the road for a non-conference game Wednesday (Dec. 15) and knocked off the No. 2 CCCWBCA team in the state – Palomar College, 68-59.

The Mounties improved to 12-3 overall in knocking off the previously unbeaten Comets (8-1).

Mt. SAC is currently ranked No. 9 in the state and No. 3 in the South Region poll (Dec. 13), while Palomar is ranked No. 1 in the South.

The Mounties will take a short holiday break before continuing their road trip with another non-conference game at Victor Valley College Tuesday (Dec. 28).
