(Los Angeles, CA) The Mt. SAC Women's Basketball team opened the L.A. Valley College Buddy's All-Star Classic with an 89-71 win over Long Beach City College Thursday, December 9.

The Mounties, playing in their fourth tournament of the season, were led by a pair of players, Mina Guevara-Goss (5-9 FGM-A) and Jamya Mickens (6-9 FGM-A), with 13 points each.

Savanna Norfleet (5 RB, 2 Steals) added 11 points, along with Kameria Piggee (4-8 FGM-A) with 10. Piggee led the team with 10 rebounds.

Mt. SAC's Briana Lizardi (4-8 FGM-A) added nine points, while Skylarr Little had three steals and six points.
