(Walnut, CA) It became evident early on that Mt. SAC (4-1) was in for a big night against San Bernardino Valley (1-4) as the Mounties opened up a 30-4 lead after one quarter en route to a 106-11 non-conference win on Saturday.

Savanna Norfleet led Mt. SAC in scoring with 23 points off the bench as teammate Allyah Cartajena added 18. Kameria Piggee (16 points), Sanaisha Morgan (10), Nikki Thompson (10), and Demariyah McGee (10) rounded out the double-digit scorers for the Mounties.

Norfleet also grabbed a game-high eight rebounds, while Cartajena, Thompson, and Piggee pulled down five each.

Mt. SAC will face Cypress College (2-2) in the opening round of the Ventura College-Kiwanis Tournament of Champions on Thursday, Nov. 11, at 4 p.m. at Ventura College.
