Mt. SAC Women's Basketball, the states defending champions, showed why they compete for a title each year. Their inside presence was a dominant factor in the win vs Fresno City College, 69-57.

Ashley Burchfield and Shawlina Segovia put up huge numbers in points and rebounds, both coming away with double-doubles. Burchfield with 17 points/16 boards and Segovia with 16 points/10 rebounds. Morgan Mason and Ashley Carter each scored 11 points, as well. The Mounties also received solid play from Rachel Williams with 8 assists. 

Mt. SAC will play Mt. San Jacinto, who beat the North's #1 seed Santa Rosa JC, 63-58. Game time is set for 3:30 pm.
