(San Diego, CA) At the 2023 Arnie Robinson Invite at San Diego Mesa College on Friday, March 31, competitors from the Mt. San Antonio College Men's Track and Field team placed first in seven events, second in eight, and third in five.

First-place finishes for the Mounties included Kerry Smith (200 meters), Johnathon Zavala (10,000 meters), Brad Riehl (400m hurdles), Ethan Amata (pole vault), Namir Hemphil (triple jump), Tylor Connelly (hammer), and the 4x100 relay squad (Hemphil, Smith, Jake Jensen, Jacob Williams).

Terrence Sweetman (triple jump), Marcus Monroe (long jump, high jump), Justin Beltran (pole vault), Carson Baldevia (3000 steeplechase), Jensen (200 meters), Williams (100 meters), and the 4x400 relay squad (Joshua Cervantes, Adam Chavez, Riehl, Nathaniel Waggener) took second in their events for Mt. SAC.

Third-place Mountie performances included Jensen (100 meters), Thomas Scofano (800 meters), Andres Chavez (5000 meters), Landen Breckner (3000 steeplechase), and Matthew Manning (javelin).

Mt. SAC will next compete in the SoCal Combined Events Meet at Mt. SAC on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 4-5, then in the Mt. SAC Relays CC meet on Saturday, April 8.
