Men's Track and Field Captures SCC Championship Behind Solid Individual Performances

(Torrance, CA) With 14 first-place, 14 second-place and 13 third-place finishes, the Mt. San Antonio College Men's Track and Field team tallied 470.5 points to easily capture the 2022 South Coast Conference (SCC) Championship.  Cerritos College (114 points) and Long Beach City College (106) finished second and third, respectively at the SCC Championships which were held at El Camino College, on Saturday, April 23rd.  

The Mounties took the top 5 spots in the 10,000-meters, 400-meters and in the pole vault.  Mt. SAC also too the top four spots in the 5,000-meters.

Mt. SAC will next compete in the California Community College Athletic Association's SoCal Regional Prelims on Saturday, May 7, at Moorpark College.
