(Redlands, CA) Several athletes from the Mt. SAC Men's Track and Field team turned in solid performances at the Redlands Invite on Wednesday and Thursday, May 19 and 20.
Ilias Garcia placed second in the 100-meter run with a time of 10.31 seconds, and fourth in the 200-meter run at 21.19 seconds.
In the 400-meter run, Severin Ramirez finished fifth, turning in a time of 49.24 seconds.
Huerta added a second-place finish in the 1500-meter run with a time of 3:56.67. Daniel Abdala finished fourth in the same event at 4:02.02.
Matthew Uballe took first in the 110 Hurdles at 14.32 seconds, while teammate Andrew Aguilar finished third at 15.45 seconds. Aguilar also had a fifth-place finish in the Pole Vault with a vault of 4.13 meters.
Philippe Ueng finished second in the Pole Vault, clearing a height of 4.93 meters.
Top-five finishes in the Long Jump included Miguel Alcaraz (6.81 meters) in first, Pu'u (6.28 meters) in third, and Jusan Velazquez Jr. (6.00 meters) in fifth.
Joshua Tan threw 52.45 meters, good enough for second in the Hammer.
Mt. SAC will compete in the Riverside City College meet on Friday, May 28.
