
(Riverside, CA) The Mt. SAC Men's Track and Field Team qualified 11 individuals and 2 relay teams to the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Southern Regional Championships. The finals will be held on Saturday (05/11), at Riverside City College and will determine those advancing to the CCCAA State Championships to be held on May 17th through 18th at the College of San Mateo.
Three Mounties already punched their ticket to the state championships with top finishing places in their respective event, which held finals during the regional preliminaries. Salvador Capetillo (10,000M) and Andrew Aguilar (Decathalon) both captures Southern California Championship Titles in their respective events to qualify for the state championships, along with Andrew Aguilar (10,000M) who also qualified.
