
(Lancaster CA) On Saturday May 14th the Mt. SAC Men's Track and Field team competed in the CCCAA Southern California Regional Championships held at Antelope Valley College, where the Mounties repeated as Southern California champions with a team score of 207 points, 51 points ahead of second place finisher Riverside City. The team will advance several athletes into the State Championships held at San Diego Mesa College May 20-21, where they will try and defend their State title.
Individual event winners include:
Cravon Gillespie (SO) 100m (10.04), 200m (20.20-New School Record and 2016 Olympic Trials Qualifier), and anchors winning 4x100m relay (39.87).
