Mt. SAC Men’s Swimming & Diving Dominates Conference Meet, Sweeping All Events

Walnut, Calif. – The Mt. SAC Men's Swimming and Diving Team delivered a commanding performance, overpowering El Camino (226-45) and Cerritos (230-41) in a double dual South Coast Conference meet on Friday, February 28. The Mounties secured victories in all 15 events.

Luke Marsden was a force to be reckoned with, claiming first place in three events: the 200 Breast, 100 Breast, and 200 IM.

Three Mountie swimmers won two events each, including Jack Painton (1000 Free, 500 Free), Gavin Roberts (100 Free, 100 Fly) and Michael Di Bello (200 Back, 100 Back).

Additional first-place finishes came from Ethan Lopez (200 Free), Ray Chun (50 Free), Thomas Chavez (200 Fly), and Michael Evangelista (diving).

The dominance continued in the relays, with Marsden, Painton, Dibello, Roberts, and Ethan Darmon teaming up to secure victories in both the 200 Medley Relay and the 400 Free Relay.
