Men’s Swimming wins 37th Annual Mt. SAC Invitational

(Walnut, CA) At the 37th Annual Invitational, the Mt. SAC Mounties scored 1335.5 points to easily win the event, more than doubling the total of the second-place El Camino (643 points) and third-place Santa Monica College (560 points).

Notable performances by the Mounties included sophomore Eric Yeh, who earned first-place finishes in the 200 and 400 Individual Medleys, 50 Freestyle, 100 Butterfly, and 100 Backstroke.

Freshman Markus Stegbuchner's first-place finishes included the 50, 100, and 200 Breaststroke, while sophomore Matthew Neoh had firsts in the 50 and 200 Back, and 100 Free, and seconds in the 100 Fly and 100 Back and a third in the 50 Free.

Mt. SAC opens South Coast Conference action on Friday (March 3) with a double dual meet against host Rio Hondo College and El Camino College.
