Former Mountie Running Back Rachaad White Drafted in Third Round by Tampa Bay Buccaneers

(Las Vegas, NV) Former Mountie Rachaad White was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the third round (91st overall pick) of the 2022 NFL Draft.  After two stellar seasons at Arizona State University, White (6'00"/214 lbs.) becomes the Buccaneers third overall draft pick in 2022 and the fifth overall running back drafted.

"It's great to see when hard work pays off," replied Mt. SAC Head Coach Bob Jastrab.  "You could tell with his work ethic and talent, Rachaad was destined to make it to the NFL."

White was a 2019 First-Team Junior College All-American at Mt. SAC, rushing for 1,264 yards and 10 touchdowns.  At Arizona state, White continued his gridiron success, leading the FBS with 10 yards per carry (42 carries for 420 yards) during his junior season (4 games).  During his senior season despite injury, he played in 11 games and managed to rush for1,006 and receive for 456 yards.

White finished his two year Sun Devil career appearing in 15 games with 2,127 all-purpose yards (141.8 per game/average).
