Samantha Rangel serves as a Student Services Program Specialist within the Kinesiology, Athletics and Dance Division Office.  She joined the Mt. SAC family in May of 2018 and works in multiple areas that involve academic support for student-athletes.

Prior to Mt. SAC, she served seven years as a Program Aide at El Camino College in the EOPS/CARE & CalWORKs Department of Student Services.

Rangel is a former El Camino College Student-Athlete who played for women’s soccer team. After recovering from two ACL injuries, she pursued a degree in Kinesiology to help collegiate student-athletes reach their career and educational goals.

In May 2017, she received her Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Dominguez Hills in Physical Education with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy.  

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running half marathons, hiking and watching movies.
