AniSurei Escalera serves the Mt. SAC Athletics Department as the Athletics Eligibility Specialist, overseeing the eligibility of over 700 Mt. SAC Student-Athletes.
Prior to arriving at Mt. SAC, in March of 2007, she served as a Child Development, Computer Science and Home Economics Teacher at Bishop Amat High School in La Puente, California.
In college she was a member of the Pep Squad at the University of Nebraska for 4 years on an athletic scholarship.
She is a graduate of Banning High School (Wilmington, CA) and the University of Nebraska, Lincoln with a Bachelors Degree in Family & Consumer Sciences.
Ani resides in Pomona with her husband Pat, daughter Grace Isabella and son, Jack Jerome. In her spare time, the avid sports fan Hip Hop Dancing, telling jokes, watching reality T.V., being awesome, hanging out with her best friend Caitlin Rodriguez, watching Nebraska Cornhusker Sports and cheering against anyone playing the Cornhuskers.
