Kody Robison joined the Mt. SAC Track and Field coaching staff in the fall of 2019, overseeing the Mounties’ throws program, which includes the discus, hammer, javelin, and shot put.

Before arriving at Mt. SAC, Robison spent two years as a volunteer throws coach at his alma mater, California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), where he worked under respected throws coach Cory Loebl. During his time with the 49ers, he contributed to the program's continued success, helping six athletes qualify for the NCAA Western Preliminaries and guiding six to All-Big West Conference honors.

As a student-athlete at CSULB, Robison competed in all throwing events and was instrumental in helping his team capture four Big West Conference Championships. He was a two-time conference champion in the hammer throw and a three-time podium finisher in the javelin. In recognition of his perseverance and contributions, he received the Todd Hart Hall of Fame Award during his collegiate career.

A graduate of Long Beach Millikan High School and CSULB, Robison holds a bachelor’s degree in human development. Originally from Long Beach, California, he currently resides in Irvine. In his free time, he enjoys Olympic weightlifting.
