(Walnut, CA) On Monday, December 2nd at 1:30 pm,
Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC) will be hosting a press
conference at Hilmer Lodge Stadium, announcing "Project 2020."
Project 2020's two main components include the 62 million dollar
renovation of Mt. SAC's historic Hilmer Lodge Stadium and the
college's intention to bid for the 2020 US Olympic Track and Field
Trials. The project will transform Hilmer Lodge Stadium into a
state-of-the-art track and field/cross country facility. Along with
the continuance of our world famous special events, the renovation
will allow Mt. SAC the opportunity to bid for additional special
events, including the 2020 Olympic Trials and the USA Track and
Field National Championships, which will bring millions of dollars
into the local economy.
