(Riverside, CA) Competing against some of the top collegiate teams, the Mt. SAC Women's Cross Country team finished 9th in the Open Division at the Annual University of California Riverside Invitational on Saturday, September 17.

Twenty-seven teams from Southern California, Nevada and Arizona competed on the 5K UCR Ag Ops course.

The Mounties, with eight entrants, finished with a team time of 1:35.59, two and a half minutes behind first place UC San Diego.

In the field of 259 runners, Mt. SAC's Hannah Brown (10th) finished as the top runner for the Mounties with a time of 5:54.2.

The Mounties will next compete at the CCCAA So Cal Preview to be held at the Kern County Soccer Park on Friday, September 23.
