(Fountain Valley, CA) At the Southern California Regional Championships at Mile Square Regional Park on Friday, Mt. SAC finished first as a team with 83 points, while Riverside and Glendale finished second and third with 122 and 132 points, respectively.

Amanda Crowell was the top finisher for the Mounties, placing 7th with a time of 18:54.4. Hannah Brown (13th, 19:14.5), Kaitlyn Atkinson (17th, 19:33.8), Karla Galvan (23rd, 19:48.8), and Claudia Vera (30th, 20:02.9) rounded out the top-30 finishers for Mt. SAC.

Ranked No. 1 in the state, the Mounties will next compete in the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno on Saturday, Nov. 20, at 9 a.m.
