(Sacramento, CA) At the Sacramento City College Open on Saturday, March 30, several competitors from Mt. San Antonio College claimed top-three finishes amongst the meet's 10 weight categories.

At 109 pounds, Tiffany Yanagi took first pinning Cerritos College's Lucy Guadarrama in 2:46, while teammate Megan Irwin finished first in the 136 pound category pinning East Los Angeles College's Ariana Valdivia in 1:18.

Other top-three placings for the Mounties included Nadia Hernandez (128 pounds, 2nd place), Elizabeth Carrillo (148 pounds, 2nd), and Herminia Estrada (123 pounds, 3rd).

Mt. SAC will conclude its Southwest Conference schedule on Wednesday, April 3, at home against Palomar College at 7 p.m. The team will then compete in the East Los Angeles College Leader of the Pack meet on Saturday, April 6.
