(Ventura, CA) On the second day of competition of the Ventura Tournament on Saturday, Mt. SAC dropped two out of three games to finish 2-3 in overall tournament play.
In the day's first match, host Ventura (12-3) handed the Mounties a 12-7 setback.
Next, Mt. SAC captured an 11-5 win over South Coast Conference rival Pasadena (2-5) behind four goals from Grace Rowland and two from Alexis Ramirez.
To close out the tournament, the Mounties fell to Fullerton (17-3) by the score of 14-4. Madeline Gaitan, Katelynn Howell, Ramirez, and Alissa Divers accounted for Mt. SAC's scoring.
The Mounties (9-12, 4-0) resume SCC play on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at El Camino (5-6-1, 1-3) at 3 p.m.
