Walnut, Calif. – The Mt. SAC Women's Volleyball Team is a force to be reckoned with this season, posting an impressive 21–5 overall record and completing an undefeated 8–0 run in conference play to claim the South Coast Conference (SCC) North Division Championship.

It comes as no surprise that the Mounties earned a long list of conference honors, reflecting the depth and talent of this year's roster.

Leading the way is outside hitter Sydney Valentine, who was named the SCC North Division Most Valuable Player. Valentine recorded 274 kills and 213 digs, averaging 3.15 kills and 2.45 digs per set.

Equally outstanding is libero Mayah Tiscareno, selected as the SCC North Division Libero of the Year after totaling 358 digs and averaging 4.31 per set.

For the second consecutive season, Head Coach Samantha Neely was named SCC North Division Coach of the Year, guiding the Mounties to another conference title.

Four Mounties earned All-SCC North First Team honors: outside hitter Emma Carson, setter Morgan Wilson, middle blocker Eva Fisher, and opposite hitter Yaretzi Silva.

Additionally, middle blocker Tatum Hardaway and outside hitters Kayla Staveley and Kacey Worcester were named to the All-SCC North Second Team.

Playoff seedings will be released Tuesday, when the Mounties will learn their opponent for the upcoming 3C2A SoCal Regionals next week. Stay tuned!
