Compton, Calif. – For their third sweep in a row, the Mt. SAC Women's Volleyball Team delivered a dominant performance on the road Friday night, taking down Compton College in straight sets: 25-11, 25-8 and 25-17.
The Mounties took control early and never looked back, showcasing a well-balanced offense, hitting a strong .330, and stifling defense with 36 digs that completely shut down the Coyotes.
Leading the charge for Mt. SAC was outside hitter Eva Fisher, who tallied 12 kills while hitting an impressive .440, while also contributing seven digs and a block assist. Sydney Valentine added 10 kills on just 13 attempts, posting a remarkable .769 hitting percentage. Yaretzi Silva also turned in a strong showing with eight kills and a .353, helping the Mounties maintain offensive pressure throughout the match.
Setter Morgan Wilson facilitated the attack with 22 assists, while Isabella Ross chipped in with 10. Brianna Reyna made her mark at the service line, delivering three of the team's nine aces.
