(Walnut, CA) In the heptathlon at the 3C2A SoCal Combined Events Regional Championships at Hilmer Lodge Stadium on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 2-3, Mt. San Antonio College took first place as a team with 14 points. Bakersfield College (10 points) and Cerritos College (seven points) came in second and third, respectively.

Emily Johnson compiled a score of 4,552 points to place second in individual competition for the Mounties. Catalina Teran (3,747 points, 5th place), Rega Romay (3,391, 7th), and Malani Johnson (3,107, 9th) rounded out the scoring for Mt. SAC.
