Women's Track & Field competes in pair of UCLA meets

(Westwood, CA) On Friday and Saturday, March 25 and 26, the Mt. San Antonio College Women's Track and Field team competed in a pair of meets at UCLA.

On Friday at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival, Mt. SAC's Kimberly Pena turned in a time of 37:17.45 in the 10,000-meter run, good enough for third place.

The top performance for the Mounties and the Rafer Johnson and Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invite on Saturday was Olivia Strickland who placed fourth in the javelin with a throw of 26.69 meters.

Mt. SAC will next compete in the Arnie Robinson Invitational at San Diego Mesa College on Friday, April 1. No fooling.
