2022 season opens for Women's Track & Field with top performances at SCC Opener

(Walnut, CA) The 2022 season got underway for the Mt. San Antonio College Women's Track and Field Team on Friday, Feb. 4, as the Mounties participated in the South Coast Conference Opener at Mt. SAC.

Of the meet's 18 events, Mt. SAC athletes captured first in 10 of them, second in seven and third in four.

Of note, Mountie athletes finished first, second, and third in the 3,000-meter run and pole vault. The 400-meter hurdles and 60-meter run also saw Mt. SAC runners finish in the top two spots.

Mt. SAC will participate in the RCC Six-way Meet on Friday, Feb. 11, at Riverside City College.
