Scott, Brown Perform Well for Mt. SAC Women's Track and Field at Beach Opener

(Long Beach, CA) At Cal State Long Beach on Saturday, March 7, the Mt. SAC Women's Track and Field Team participated in the Beach Opener meet. Here are the notable performances turned in by Mountie athletes.

Alia Scott took second place in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.14, while teammate Janiah Brown finished fourth in the 800-meter run at 2:15.01.

Mt. SAC will participate in the Ben Brown Invitational at Cal State Fullerton on Friday and Saturday, March 13 and 14. The team's distance runners will travel to Occidental College on Saturday to compete in the Occidental Distance Carnival.
