Walnut, Calif. – The Mt. SAC Women's Soccer Team capped off an outstanding regular season by claiming the South Coast Conference Championship, finishing with a 13-4-3 overall record and 7-1-0 in conference play. Building on that success, the Mounties dominated the conference awards, a reflection of the skill, teamwork, and dedication they displayed all season long.
Sophomore forward Eden Ramirez led the way offensively, earning Offensive Player of the Year honors after netting 14 goals and adding 5 assists to power the Mountie attack.
On the defensive side, freshman midfielder Samantha Sanchez was recognized as Defensive Player of the Year, helping the team record 10 shutouts while contributing 5 goals and 7 assists herself.
Anchoring the backline, goalkeeper Zanette Gonzalez was named Goalkeeper of the Year, compiling 51 saves, 9 wins, and a .761 save percentage over 1,325 minutes of play while allowing just 16 goals.
The Mounties also had strong representation on the All-Conference teams. Teresa Garcia, Bella Gomez, Yuliana Jimenez, and Nadine Padilla earned First Team All-Conference honors, while Maddison Shaw, Emma Malana, Jillian Harriman, and Vailele Potesio were recognized on the Second Team All-Conference, highlighting the depth and balance across the roster.
Leading the program from the sidelines, Head Coach Juan Sanchez was honored as South Coast Conference North Division Coach of the Year, a recognition of the leadership that has propelled both the men's and women's programs to success.

Let the postseason run begin! The No. 6 seeded Mounties will host the winner of Tuesday's matchup between Southwestern (14-3-4) and Ventura (9-6-6) on Saturday, November 22 in the second round of the 3C2A SoCal Regionals.
