Walnut, Calif. – That's six straight for the Mounties! The Mt. SAC Women's Soccer Team battled their way to a 1-0 victory over Pasadena City College in a tense conference matchup on Friday, October 24. The win keeps Mt. SAC unbeaten in South Coast Conference action at 5-0 and moves their overall record to 10-2-3, while Pasadena drops to 11-5-0 and 4-1 in the SCC.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
One was the lucky number and all they needed to secure the win when Maddison Shaw found the back of the net in the 43rd minute.
It was a physical, back-and-forth battle, with three Mounties receiving yellow cards including Shaw, Bella Gomez and Emma Malana. Goalkeeper Zanette Gonzalez anchored the defense, recording the shutout to preserve the Mounties' sixth straight victory.

The Mounties will hit the road for another conference matchup against Los Angeles City (3-7-3, 1-3) on Tuesday, October 28, at 7:00 PM.
