(Long Beach, CA) In a battle of South Coast Conference division leaders, host Long Beach City College (8-0-4, 3-0-1) and Mt. San Antonio College (10-2-2, 3-0-1) played to a 0-0 crossover tie on Friday, Oct. 13. Both teams are ranked in the most recent California Community College Sports Information Association state poll, with the Mounties at No. 3 and the Vikings at No. 5.

Mt. SAC returns home for a three-game homestand that begins with an SCC North game against Pasadena City College (10-1-4, 3-1) on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. The Lancers are ranked No. 11 in the same poll.
