(Walnut, CA) Mt. San Antonio College ran its win streak to four and unbeaten streak to five with a 3-0 non-conference victory over visiting College of the Desert (7-2) on Tuesday, Sept. 26.

Vivian Lopez started things off for the Mounties (7-1-1) with a goal in the 43rd minute on an assist from Brianna Bernal. Elena Ochoa added an unassisted goal in the 83rd minute and Kristin Mijares scored the game's final goal on an assist from Zuhayle Diaz in the 89th minute.

Goalie Anai Olmedo recorded her fourth shutout of the season for Mt. SAC, making five saves in 90 minutes.

The Mounties will conclude the non-conference part of their schedule on Friday, Sept. 29, at home against Chaffey College (6-1-2). Game time is set for 6 p.m. Mt. SAC is ranked No. 2 in the first 3C2A state poll and Chaffey is ranked No. 3.
