(Sacramento, CA) Mt. San Antonio College played a pair of non-conference games at Cosumnes River College and came away with a loss and tie. On Friday, Sept. 8, the host Hawks (3-0-1) won, 1-0, giving the Mounties (3-1-1) their first defeat of the season. On Sunday, Sept. 10, Mt. SAC and Sierra College (0-3-1) played to a 0-0 tie.

In the 70th minute of a scoreless game, Cosumnes River's Rosalee Beckham scored the game's only goal, which proved to be the contest's decisive score. The Mounties had five shots on goal but none of them connected.

Anai Olmedo played all 90 minutes in goal for Mt. SAC, making three saves.

Mt. SAC 0 Sierra 0

The scoreless contest gave the Mounties their first draw of the season.

Olmedo went the distance in this contest as well, holding Sierra scoreless with three saves.
