(Walnut, CA) Mt. SAC Women's Soccer placed four women on the All-South Coast Conference (SCC) Women's Soccer Teams.
First Team honors went to Sophomore Midfielders, Liani Sanchez (18 goals, 5 assist) and Hannah Grady# (9 goals, 6 assists).
Second team honors went to Sophomore Defenders, Taylor Moose# (4 goals) and Stephanie Robles*.
The Mounties Women's Soccer Team completed a extremely successful 2019 campaign under interim Head Coach, Juan Sanchez. The 2019 team finished with a 14-7-3 overall record, 5-3 conference record and took 4th place in what was an extremely tough SCC. The team defeated #1 seed Cypress in the first round of play-offs, but their magical season came to an end in a double overtime heartbreaking, 2-1, loss to #8 San Bernardino College. This marked the first time in over a decade that the team had advanced to the second round of play-offs.
