(Norwalk, CA) Cerritos College (9-4-2, 2-1) handed visiting Mt. SAC (10-5-2, 2-2) a 2-1 South Coast Conference loss on Tuesday afternoon.

Liani Sanchez put the Mounties on the board first at the 23:44 mark on an unassisted goal. The Falcons scored their first goal 40 seconds later, then put the decisive goal in the net at the 46:49 point during the second half.

Goalkeeper Gabrielle Leon had four saves in 90 minutes for Mt. SAC.

The Mounties return to action on Friday, Nov. 1, at 6 p.m. in an SCC match against Rio Hondo (10-1-3, 3-0) at the Mt. SAC Soccer Complex. The Roadrunners outscored Mt. SAC, 3-2, in a match on Oct. 1.
