(Modesto, CA) Wetzel Hill placed first in the 165-lb weight class, leading Mt. SAC to a second-place finish (108.5 points) at the Mike Tamana Invitational, on Saturday. Fresno City College captured first place with 184.5 points and host Modesto placed third, with 102.5 points.
Conner Diamond took second place in the 125-lb class for the Mounties, while teammates Ian Vasquez (174 lb), Colby Huynh (197 lb), and Jackson Clark (285 lb) had third-place finishes in their respective weight classes.
Saturday's tournament was the third consecutive in which Hill reached the finals of his weight class.
