Anaheim, Calif. – In their final regular season showdown at Dad Miller Golf Course, the Mt. SAC Women's Golf Team delivered their strongest performance of the year, recording an impressive team score of 310. In a tightly contested match, the Mounties were edged out by just one stroke by Orange Empire Conference rival Orange Coast College, who posted a 309. Fullerton College trailed far behind with a 406.
Kaitlyn Wang led the charge for Mt. SAC with a 2-over-par 73, securing second place individually behind OCC's Sophie Thibodeau. Kyrie Padero followed closely with a 74 to take third, while Lauren Grant-Timassy placed sixth with an 80. Leah Garcia tied for eighth (83), Abigail Price finished 12th (87), and Evangeline Rodriguez rounded out the scoring, tying for 15th with a 98.
Wang continues to lead the Orange Empire Conference individually, with a cumulative score of 305 from her top three rounds.
