(El Cajon, CA) For the fifth time in six Orange Empire Conference matches this season, the Mt. SAC Women's Golf team finished in first place at Cottonwood Golf Course in El Cajon on Wednesday, October 11th.

With another 6-0 win, the Mounties improved to 35-1 in the conference. They hold a comfortable seven-win lead over the second-place College of the Desert (28-8) and third-place Fullerton (27-9).

The match, hosted by Cuyamaca College, saw the Mounties dominate once again for the fifth time with a 24-stroke advantage for the win.

As a team, the Mounties carded a 316, ahead of second-place Fullerton (340), Desert (344), Saddleback (361), Cuyamaca (395), Orange Coast (399), and Mt. San Jacinto (431).

Cathilyn Lee (FC) and Kiana Glossner (CUY) tied for low medalist with a score of 75.

The Mounties' Kylie Lau carded a 76 for third place, followed by Kayla Loera in 5th (79) and Natalie Neal in 6th (79), with Alana Lo in 7th (82).

The scoring averages for the four Mounties also place them in the fifth through eighth positions after six matches.

Next up for Mt. SAC is OEC Match No. 7 at the Fullerton Golf Course on Monday, October 16th. Fullerton Community College will host the event.
