Mountie Women's Golf finish fifth in OEC Tournament on Day 1

(Menifee, CA) In the first of two rounds of the Orange Empire Conference season-ending tournament, the Mounties finished fifth at the Par-72 Menifee Lakes Golf Course Monday, November 1.

Orange Coast College was the top finisher on the day with a team score of 317, followed by Saddleback (326), College of the Desert (352), Cuyamaca (390), Mt. SAC (397), Mt. San Jacinto (400), and Fullerton (420).

Taking Low Medalist honors was COD's Lehappi Taungahihifo with a 3-Over Par, 75.

The Mounties were led by: Katerina Cervantes with an 84, followed by Payton Dawson (95), Jule Gutierrez (103), and Emilia Hickman (115).

The second and final day of competition in the OEC tourney will take place Wednesday, November 3.
